Robbery is the act of depriving someone of their personal property using violence, intimidation or force, whether the object taken was from the person or their immediate surroundings. Robbery charges can be upgraded to other charges, such as armed or aggravated robbery, and include a weapon's charge if a weapon had been used during the robbery.

Burglary includes home invasions, breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, and trespassing.
